About Change Order Costs

Overview

In the Details > Summary tab of the original job, select the Include: Change Orders and Include: Linked Change Orders check boxes to include change order values in your job breakdown table.

Outside of the US, 'change orders' are called 'variations'. Learn more in About Variation Costs.

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System A screenshot of a schedule icon with a grey calendar icon and an arrow. > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. Selecting the Include: Linked Change Order check box includes only the linked change order jobs and excludes the linked change order quotes. Learn more in How to Use the Breakdown Table in Quotes and How to Use the Breakdown Table in Jobs.

Declined change orders and change orders awaiting approval are also included when this check box is selected.
