Overview
With Maintenance Planner set up, Simpro Premium sends notifications for upcoming services and manage your upcoming services in Maintenance Planner.
Create jobs with assets assigned, scheduled to your technicians to test the asset in Simpro Mobile.
Required setup
In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System 
> Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. The relevant security group tab and specific permissions for this article can be found here:
Complete a Maintenance Planner job workflow
Below is a simplified workflow for completing asset maintenance works in a Maintenance Planner job:
- Create Jobs in Maintenance Planner.
- When an asset is due for maintenance, create a job in Maintenance Planner. You can create multiple maintenance jobs at once. Learn more in Create Jobs with Maintenance Planner.
- Test Assets in Simpro Mobile.
- Technicians can test customer assets on the job and record the results to be viewed in Simpro Premium. Test results can be recorded in a job card or Simpro Mobile. If an asset fails a test, you can immediately create a quote for fixing it. Learn more in How to Test Assets.
- Invoice Maintenance Planner Jobs.
- Invoice asset maintenance jobs created in Maintenance Planner using a variety of methods to meet customer needs and your business requirements. Learn more in How to Invoice for Asset Maintenance | Maintenance Planner.
- Create Quotes for failed assets
- If an asset has failed a test you receive an alert in Simpro Premium to create a quote to rectify the fault. Learn more in View Failed Assets.
- Report on Assets
- Run the Customer Asset List report to view customer assets according to asset type and the Asset Test History report displays test results for your customer assets. Learn more in Customer Asset List Report and Asset Test History Report.
