Quote and Sales Module

Overview

The Quote and Sales module is a comprehensive field-sales solution designed for technicians to:

  • View and edit scheduled and assigned quotes / jobs
  • Create and present options to the customer, with items such as pre-builds, catalogue items, labour rates, service fees, and memberships
  • Save quotes / jobs with options as drafts before they are sent to Simpro Premium
  • Email quotes to the customers.

If you have access only to the Quote and Sales module, you receive notifications for:

  • activities
  • message notifications sent from the schedule
  • new / adjusted schedules on service quotes / jobs without discounts or fees applied
  • when you are assigned / unassigned to service quotes / jobs without discounts or fees applied.

You also have the option to complete jobs and quotes in either the Quote and Sales module or Service module. Learn more in How to Complete a Quote. Each module includes some exclusive functionality that is relevant to that module. For example the Quote and Sales module includes Memberships, to aid in upselling. The Service module includes the ability to record times and manage attachments. Ensure that you use the correct module to support your workflow.

How to Use Licences

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System A screenshot of a schedule icon with a grey calendar icon and an arrow. > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. About Simpro Mobile Security Groups: Quote and Sales Module

Basic requirements to access Quote and Sales module:

  • Simpro Premium URL and login credentials
  • Valid mobility licence. Learn more in Adjust employee settings.
  • In Simpro Premium, go to People A screenshot of a schedule icon with a grey calendar icon and an arrow. > Employee / Contractor, open the relevant card, select the Mobility > Mobile check boxes under Profile > Settings > Licences and select the relevant Mobile Security Group with the Quote and Sales Module enabled.
  • Latest version of Simpro Mobile app.
