How to use Reminders in Mobile
Overview
Use Reminders to display important information prominently for specific customers and sites in the Service module in Simpro Mobile.

Required setup
Make sure the mobile user has permission to access the Service Module in Simpro Mobile and has the setup reminder in Simpro Premium before they can receive the mobile reminder.
Go to People > Employees and click the specific employee’s name, go to the Settings page to ensure the Mobile licence has been applied with the assigned Security Group. Learn more in How to Use Licences.
Go to System > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. Learn more in About Simpro Mobile Security Groups: Service Module.
Creating reminders
To create a reminder for a customer or site:
- In Simpro Premium, go to People > Customers or People > Sites and select a specific customer or site.
- On the Customer Profile or Site Profile page, click the Reminders tab.
- Click Create Reminder.
- Enter the reminder Name.
- Select a Trigger or multiple triggers for when the alert should appear.
- If you select Open Customer, Open Job, Open Quote, or Open Invoice, the reminder will appear for the relevant subject regardless of when the reminder is created.
- If you select New Job, New Quote, or New Invoice, the reminder will appear for the relevant subject created after the reminder is created.
- Select whether to Show in Mobile.
- Enter the Message.
- Click Create.
You can only create reminders in Simpro Premium, but not in Simpro Mobile.
Viewing Reminders in Simpro Mobile
To view reminders in the daily scheduled list of Service module:
- Go to the Service Module.
- On the daily scheduled list, tap the reminder
icon to view any relevant reminders for the specific quote or job.- Note that the reminders icon will only be visible if reminders have been created within the customer or site profile page in Simpro Premium, and by having Show in Mobile enabled.
To view reminders within a job or quote in Service module:
- Go to the Service Module.
- Select and open a specific quote or job that has the reminder set up.
- Depending on the triggers set up when creating the reminder, reminders can appear from when opening the customer, job or quote, invoice, or when creating a new job, quote, or invoice.
- Tap the reminders
icon to view all relevant reminders. - Reminders will be marked with a customer or site tag to indicate the type of reminder.
