Mobile Attachments Redesign and Video (BETA)
Use and view attachments in Simpro Mobile easily. Attachments have been improved giving you more places to add attachments from including the Task and Timesheet module. More file formats are available to upload, giving you more flexibility with what attachments are added to your project, such as documents and PDF files, as well as recording videos to add as an attachment.
The newest version of Mobile Attachments includes access to a beta trial for Video Recording and Storage. During the beta trial, customers will be given access to upload video attachments from Simpro Mobile at no additional cost. At the end of the beta availability in mid-2025 customers will be given the option to upgrade their user license, or package, for an additional cost. Videos uploaded during the beta trial period will be retained and accessible for all customers, as with other Simpro data, with no expiration - upgrading mobile license is not required.
To confirm if you have the new functionality, check your Simpro Mobile version number (12.0 or above).
Go to Settings > About to view the Simpro Mobile version number.
Improvements
Attachments from Simpro Mobile were duplicating in Simpro Premium when you uploaded from your gallery to the Service module. All fixed!
