Simpro Premium 25.1.1
What's new in Simpro Premium: from 12 January 2025 AEST
Stripe - Improved finance charges
Need to enter a blended finance charge? If you have the Stripe payments method enabled, you now have more options when adding a finance charge to payment methods. Either enter the finance charge as a percentage or a fixed amount.
If you add both a percentage and a fixed amount, the finance charge displayed in Simpro Premium will be a combination of the two. Go to System > Setup > Accounts > Payment Methods.

- If you use an iOS device and upload a HEIF/HEIC file in Simpro Mobile, a JPEG copy is created so the file can be viewed in Simpro Premium.
- We’ve added new keyboard shortcuts - to close a dialogue box, press ESC to close using the X button or press Enter to close using the confirmation button.
- To avoid confusion, ‘Simpro Payments’ in the Extensions tab is being renamed Payrix.
Improvements
- Sometimes you weren’t able to filter by cost centre in the invoice list. All fixed!
- When you receipted a purchase order, the ‘All purchase orders on the job have been received’ automatic trigger was not triggering the status to update. Now your automatic triggers will work normally.
- If you use a budgetSMS plan with Simpro Premium, you weren’t able to manually input a Sender ID for notifications. All fixed!
- Trying to remove assets from a job was causing an error. Now you’ll be able to remove assets when you don’t need them.
- In contractor cards, you weren’t able to sort contractor audit logs. Now you can sort the audit logs in the order you want.
- Sometimes the Profit/Loss Job report was causing an error. All fixed!
- If you didn’t have permission to create recurring invoices in your security groups, you weren’t able to upload attachments to recurring jobs. Now you can upload attachments to recurring jobs without worrying about recurring invoices.
- A customer’s statement was producing two different amounts when filtering by All Invoices and Current Invoices, and neither of these amounts matched the Aged Receivables report. Now all relevant invoices will be included.
- In Multicompany, you were able to open quotes from other companies you didn’t have access to via the global search. Now your access will be restricted.
- Date driven notifications were being triggered multiple times on the same day. All fixed!
- For some users, cost centres that had already been claimed on a prior invoice were showing on new unlocked progress claims. All fixed!
- Sometimes you weren’t able to save a job. All fixed!
- In the barcode portal, the page would load infinitely if you tried searching for stock while another stock is waiting for approval. All fixed!
- Trying to export contract service levels was causing an error if your build had a lot of contracts and assets. Now you’ll be able to export what you need.
- Sometimes processing a payment with the Square integration was causing an error. All fixed!
- When you searched for a stock item, irrelevant items were being included in the search results. Now your search will be easier.
- Sometimes trying to export a payment to your accounting package was causing an error. All fixed!
- Unassigning stock from a job did not create a new journal entry for inventory tracking. All fixed!
- When you archived a customer asset, the asset was removed from the site but not from any recurring job templates. Now your archived assets won’t stick around.
- In BI Reporting, the Mobile Status table was empty even if your build had mobile status data. Now you’ll be able to report on your mobile statuses again.
- If you use the Stripe integration, sometimes you weren’t able to add the online payment link to your invoice or statement emails. Now your customers will be able to pay you.
- Entering 0 in some fields was causing an error. All fixed!
- When you downloaded a CSV of customer assets in a job, even if you clicked the download button for the second or third table, only assets from the first table are downloaded. Now you can download all the relevant assets.
- Clicking Update Materials in a job cost centre was not removing the warning. Now the warning will disappear when materials are updated.
- The job overview was showing a committed material cost, however this committed material cost was not showing in any of the cost centres. Now your job overview and cost centres will be consistent.
- Sometimes you were getting an error when trying to export multiple supplier invoices to QuickBooks Online. All fixed!
- Receipting a purchase order was incorrectly creating a journal entry with no value. Now your receipt will only create a journal entry for the correct amount.
- If a job has autosave enabled, and you added an assigned quantity in the Stock tab without clicking Update Materials, the tab was replaced with a blank screen when autosave was triggered. Now your Stock tab will stay put.
- If a job used a response time that didn’t have Include Weekends selected, and the job was created on a Friday, the response time was not ignoring weekends and was recording the response time as missed. Now your response times will behave the way they should.
- Sometimes your licence was being released to another user while you were still active. Now other users will have to wait until your licence is inactive.
- The Lead Activity report was incorrectly calculating the days passed when filtering by leads lost. Now it will correctly calculate the number of days using the Created date and Archived date
- Sometimes you were receiving an error when trying to view a quote, even if you have the relevant security permissions. Now you’ll be able to view your quotes.

- SMS messages were failing to send because the first digit was being removed from the recipient’s number. All fixed!
- In the Schedule tab in a job, if you clicked the drop-down arrow, sometimes you were seeing options that shouldn’t be available. Now the drop-down will only display Print Job Card and Email Job Card.
- Sometimes an asset failure was triggering a notification before you clicked Save in the job card. Now your notifications won’t send until after you save.
