Variation Approval Date field

We’ve introduced a new Variation Approval Date plugin field in the Form Builder templates, helping you with more customisation options for your forms.

You can add this field in your credit notes, invoices, and jobs, providing your customers with clear visibility into when variations on jobs or quotes were approved. This handy addition offers a quick and easy reference point for variation approval timelines directly within your forms.

View payment status on job invoices

We've enhanced invoice forms to provide greater clarity regarding job payments. Two new fields, Job Payments Received and Job Outstanding Balance will now be available on all invoice form types.

These fields will offer a clear overview of the total payments made for a specific job and the remaining balance across all associated invoices. To ensure accuracy in consolidated invoices, an "If exists" condition has been included. With this improvement you can readily access information about the financial status of each job.

Material visibility on job cards and invoices

A new conditional field is now introduced for materials tables within job cards and invoices. Previously, materials selected for a job but not needed were displayed with a "0 required" quantity.

You can now specify whether the required materials are visible on generated forms, providing a more relevant view for your customers, and reducing confusion for what materials are required.

Enhanced Stripe transaction visibility in Simpro Payments

Simpro Payments now offers improved visibility into your Stripe transactions and related data. When you connect to your Stripe account, you will notice new sections within the Integration tab for easier access to key information.

  • Dashboard: Provides a concise overview of your Simpro Payments account transaction activity.
  • Payments: Presents a detailed list of all transactions, including amount, date, and status. This section also has an area for managing payment disputes and an option to export your transaction history.
  • Payouts: Displays a summary of your account balances, allowing you to interact with the details of individual payouts and associated payments.
  • Documents: Offers an easily accessible list of all tax invoices generated within the connected Stripe account.

Enhancement

The Profit/Loss Job Report now offers more flexibility in displaying estimated costs. You can now choose to view either the Estimates or Revised Estimates within the report, providing a more comprehensive overview.

Improvements

  • We've resolved an issue where another user could edit a job if the first user was inactive for 20 minutes. Now, if another user makes changes to the job while you are inactive, you'll get an error message when you try to save ensuring there are no conflicts.
  • The issue causing invoices from 2023 to be automatically emailed has been resolved. Now, only your scheduled recurring invoices will be sent as expected by the Simpro system.
  • Sometimes deleting a credit note that overpaid an invoice incorrectly was still showing the credit on your statement. All fixed now!
  • We've fixed an issue where exporting customer contacts would incorrectly duplicate the first associated customer for contacts linked to multiple customers. Now, the export accurately lists each customer a contact is assigned to!
