Job Status Report
Overview
This report displays jobs according to status within each job stage, and is colour-coded according to your Status Codes and Automatic Triggers settings.
This is useful for managers and administrators to assess job progression and diagnose any bottlenecks in your workflow. You may wish to filter the report to view jobs that do not have completed job cards and are preventing timely invoicing.
US only: If you use Simpro Premium in the United States, the term 'work order' is used instead of 'job card'.

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. The relevant security group tab and specific permissions for this article can be found here:
To view the report:
- Go to Reports > View Reports > Jobs > Job Status.
- Under Job Date Issued, select the date range.
- Filter the report by selecting from the drop-down lists.
- Click Search.
The following information is displayed in the report.
Job | Click the job number and name to open the job. |
Date Created | The date the job was created. |
Customer | Click to open the customer card file. |
Telephone | The Primary Phone for individual customers or the Company Phone for company customers. |
Scheduled Technician(s) | A list of all employees scheduled to the job. |
Project Tag(s) | A list of any tags on the job. |
Site | Click to open the site card file. |
Job Total (Ex Tax) | The job total, excluding tax. |
Status | The current job status. This is also displayed as a coloured bar in the right-most column. |
You can download the information in the report as a spreadsheet in CSV format, viewable in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
To download the report:
- Generate the report as required.
- Click the icon in the top right, then click CSV.
- View, print or save the CSV, as required.
