If you are getting started with Simpro Premium and you already use Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop, you can import customers, suppliers, and employees from Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop into Simpro Premium. This import should only be performed once to avoid duplicate data.
Not all information in Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop can be imported into Simpro Premium, so you may need to enter some details manually.
In Australia and New Zealand, the accounting package is known as Reckon. In the United Kingdom and United States, it is known as QuickBooks Desktop.

Ensure you have the correct Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop data file and Simpro Premium company selected.
Ensure the Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop username and password entered into the accounting link is that of an Admin user.
To check this, in Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop, go to Company > Users > Manage Login Settings > Set up Users and Roles, enter your admin password and click OK.
In the accounting link, go to the Setup tab.
Click Initial Import > Yes.
Next to each type of transaction, enter a number under Order to determine the order they are displayed in.
