Scheduled Customer Assets - Scheduled Report
Overview
Run the Scheduled Customer Assets report to view which jobs created from the Maintenance Planner were due within the relevant period of time.
This is useful for reviewing which assets are due to be tested recently. Learn more in Create Jobs with Maintenance Planner.
Unlike most scheduled reports the Scheduled Customer Assets is not based on a standard report.

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. The relevant security group tab and specific permissions for this article can be found here:
To run the report:
- Go to Reports > Schedule Reports.
- Click Maintenance Planner > Scheduled Customer Assets.
- Enter a Report Label to help identify the report in Simpro Premium.
- Enter the Email Addresses for the recipients of the report. Use commas to separate multiple email addresses.
- Select the Frequency.
- If Weekly or Fortnightly is selected, select the Day of the Week.
- If Monthly is selected, select the Day of the Month.
- The Period that is reported on is the time frame directly preceding the Frequency. For example if the report is set to run weekly on Monday from 09/01/2023 the first Period will be from 02/01/2023 to 08/01/2023.
- Filter the report by selecting from the Report Criteria drop-down.
- Click Save and Finish.
The report is sent to all recipients at the specified intervals, filtered according to the report criteria.
If you use an on-site server, scheduled reports are not available.
The report is categorised based on Asset Type. The following columns are displayed in the report:
Customer | The Customer associated with the job that is due. |
Site | The site where the asset is located. |
Job No. | The number associated with the job that is due. |
Zone | The zone that the site is located in. This may be left blank if there is no zone. |
Assigned Technician | The primary technician assigned to the job that is due. |
Job Due Date | The date that the job is due. |
Asset Custom Fields | The asset’s custom fields and the information recorded in those fields are displayed in the remaining columns. |
