Set Up Plant and Equipment

Overview

Plant items are equipment that your business uses to complete work. This can be anything from mobile devices to vehicles and machinery.

Plant items can be scheduled as resources along with technicians, and you can choose to receive alerts when a plant item is due to be serviced. You can also check in and check out plant items so that you always know who is using the equipment.

Plant types

Set up plant types to group plant items together in categories so that you can manage them more easily. Use the Plant Builder in System Setup to create plant types, and then access them in the Utilities menu to create individual plant items.
