Simpro Premium 24.2.5

What's new in Simpro Premium: from 2 June 2024 AEST

Customer-specific banner alerts

Create your own warnings to appear in specific places for certain workflow events. For example, if a site is only accessible on some days of the week, set up a banner alert for this site to appear in jobs so that the person scheduling the job knows when the site is accessible.

In the customer card or site card file, go to the Banner Alerts tab, and select an Alert Trigger that determines when the alert will appear, and enter a Message that will appear when the alert is triggered. Banner alerts can be set up for quotes, jobs, invoices, and when scheduling the relevant projects.

Amend dates for requests for claim

We’ve made a small but smart improvement that means your invoicing workflow will be smoother and more accurate.

When you convert a request for claim to a regular invoice, you’ll receive a reminder to update the invoice date to today’s date, in case you’ve missed the original date on the request for claim. This will help prevent your invoices from ending up in a closed period.

Improved two-factor authentication

Two factor authentication now allows for multiple trusted devices to be connected. Instead of having a single device and having to authenticate each time you access a new computer, now when you log in to Simpro Premium with a new device and select Trust Device it will save each computer for the next 30 days. This saves the need to authenticate each time you log in until then. Due to this new feature you are also able to Remove all saved trusted devices with just a click of a button.

Improvements

  • Archived recurring invoice templates were creating new invoices after reaching the inflation anniversary. Now your archived recurring invoices will stay archived.
  • If you use inventory tracking, the journal date for supplier credit was using the Invoice Date on the receipt instead of the Credit Date on the credit. Now your dates will be correct.
  • In the Job Productivity report, if you changed the Employee Type filter, the Site filter was being ignored. Now all your filters will be working normally.
  • If an email was dispatched to multiple email addresses using the Cc field, these additional recipients weren’t included in the invoice log. Now all recipients will be included and your records will be accurate.
  • Some supplier integrations were having issues receipting orders if the same account number was used for multiple suppliers. Now you’ll be able to receipt orders from different supplier integrations.
  • In the Outlook Email integration, when you tried to attach a note to a job you weren’t able to find any jobs for the selected customer. All fixed!
