Export Tracking Data to QuickBooks Online


If you perform cloud-based accounting using QuickBooks Online and have integrated the accounting package with Simpro Premium, you can track your Simpro Premium accounting categories or business groups in QuickBooks Online if you have enabled tracking in QuickBooks Online.

Accounting categories that have been applied to transactions such as invoices populate the Location drop-down list in the top right corner of the transaction in QuickBooks Online.

Business groups populate the Class area of individual line items within a transaction in QuickBooks Online.

You can only track either accounting categories or business groups. You cannot track both at once. If the accounting category (location) or business group (class) does not exist in QuickBooks Online, it is created in the accounting package at the time that the transaction is being posted.
