Plant and Equipment Module (Beta)

Overview

With the Plant and Equipment module, you can easily view and check-in or out your plant and equipment in the field.

Field technicians can use the Plant and Equipment module in the field to access, check-in and check-out, and manage your plant and equipment in real time. Learn more in Simpro Mobile Settings.

How to Use Licences

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System A screenshot of a schedule icon with a grey calendar icon and an arrow. > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. Mobile Security Groups: Plant and Equipment (Beta)

Basic requirements to access the Plant and Equipment module:

  • Simpro Premium URL and login credentials
  • Valid mobility licence. Learn more in Adjust employee settings.
  • In Simpro Premium, go to People > Employee / Contractor, open the relevant card, select the Mobility > Mobile check boxes under Profile > Settings > Licences and select the relevant Mobile Security Group with the Plant and Equipment Module enabled.
  • Latest version of Simpro Mobile app.
