Export Stripe fees to MYOB and QBO

If you use MYOB or QBO as your accounting package, you can now use the accounting link to export your Stripe fees.

Buy now, pay later

Give your customers more choices for payment - you can now accept Afterpay (Clearpay in the UK) and Klarna as payment options.

Set up Afterpay or Klarna as a payment option in Invoices > Simpro Payments > Configuration. The maximum payment amount you can receive with this method depends on your region.

Buy now, pay later options cannot be used to pay for recurring invoices.

This feature will be released gradually to each region in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth experience for all users before it becomes available to everyone.

Improvements

  • In the jobs list, the Percentage Paid column was displaying incorrect figures. Now your numbers will add up.
  • On PDF invoice forms, sometimes tax was displaying incorrectly. All fixed!
  • When you filtered the Completed Jobs table by customer group, some jobs were being omitted. Now you’ll be able to access all the relevant jobs.
  • In multi-company, when you created a new company with defaults not shared, the mobile audits from the template company were not being copied. All fixed!
  • Rearranging the order of custom fields was causing any new custom fields you created to appear in the wrong order too. Now when you add a new custom field, it will automatically be added at the bottom of the list.
  • When you changed the claim amounts of cost centres in a progress claim, the retention value was changing to the wrong amount. Now your retention amount will be calculated correctly.
  • When exporting inventory journals to MYOB, the amount excluding tax was 10% less than in Simpro Premium. Now your exported journals will have the right amounts.
  • When you used the Claim Per Item option in an invoice, clicking the Quantity field to automatically populate with the remaining billable quantity was only working for the first item, and other item quantities needed to be entered manually. Now you can quickly populate this field for each item.
  • Email notifications triggered in a job were displaying in the Activity Timeline but not in the job log. All fixed!
  • Sometimes you were able to archive and delete work orders in a project, even without the correct security group permissions. Now your security groups will restrict access to the right employees.
  • In asset record forms, the Fax field was displaying even if no fax number was entered in your company details. Now the Fax field will be excluded if no fax number is entered.
