How to Use Honeywell Integration
Overview
Integration between Simpro Premium and Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS) enables you to use the CLSS mobile app when performing fire safety asset tests, and sync asset defect data onto a job in Simpro Premium. You can then create a quote for the failed assets in an improved streamlined workflow.
With Honeywell CLSS integration enabled, failed asset tests will sync to jobs and create an alert allowing you to easily create quotes to rectify failed assets when required.

When performing a test for devices in CLSS, enter a Simpro Premium job number. When you sync the test in CLSS, each device that is failed with a corrective action recorded, is created as an asset on the Simpro Premium job. The details of the deficiency are recorded against the assets custom fields. Any images recorded against the failure in CLSS are attached to the job in Simpro Premium. When you Save and Finish out of the job you can quote Asset Failures for these assets. Once the quotes generated from the asset failures reach the applicable Quote Status, the deficiency is closed in CLSS.
To create a job in Simpro Premium to record defects from CLSS:
- Hover over Jobs and click Service Job or Project Job.
- Search for and select a Customer and Site.
- Select the required Cost Centre.
- Apply other Job Setup options, as required and click Next.
- Go to the Schedule tab and click the calendar icon next to the relevant technician.
- Schedule the technician for the required date and time.
If multiple schedule blocks are created or multiple technicians are scheduled to the job, the asset test results are recorded against the job card for the most recent schedule on the day that the assets were tested in Honeywell CLSS, or on the most recent day. Future schedule blocks are disregarded.
To mark devices as failed and create corrective action in the CLSS mobile app:
- Tap the Checkpoints tab.
- Access the building where the inspection and deficiencies are recorded.
- Tap Start New Test.
- Enter the Job Number from Simpro Premium.

- Once the sync is complete, the device is created as an asset on the job with a failed test result and the relevant data recorded against the custom fields.
- Tap End Test.
Your workflow in the CLSS mobile app may vary. You can refer the Honeywell CLSS learning material for specific details on creating corrective action.
