How to Create Assets


Once you have created your Asset Types, Service Levels and Maintenance Pre-builds you can create your assets in simPRO.

Assets can be created manually, using an import file or from a catalogue item. You can also create assets in Connect simPRO Mobile. However, with Maintenance Planner you cannot associate assets created in Connect with a customer contract in the field. You need to access simPRO after the asset is created to add a customer contract and amend service levels as required.

Assets created in simPRO Mobile are automatically associated with the site and customer contract on the scheduled job. Learn more in How to Test Assets.
