Integrate Your Accounting Package with simPRO
Overview
simPRO can interact with your accounting package through the accounting link.
This means that you can send data from simPRO, such as invoices, payments and other transactions, to your accounting package instead of having to update your accounts separately, keeping your financial data accurate and transparent. Exactly what data you can send and how the accounting link works are different depending on your accounting package.
Please note that accounting packages not listed below may be supported through our third party integration partners. For a complete list of packages available in your country please visit our website.

In order to view content or perform actions referred to in this article you need to have the appropriate permissions enabled in your security group. Go to System > Setup > Security Groups and access your security group to update your permissions. The relevant security group tab and specific permissions for this article can be found here:


The following online accounting software packages are supported in simPRO in Australia and New Zealand:

You need to check in your company accounting file to the MYOB cloud for MYOB AccountRight Live to be supported. The link is not supported if the company file is stored on your local machine or server (checked out).

The following desktop accounting software packages are supported in Australia:
- MYOB AccountRight Enterprise, Premier, Plus, and Standard, all V19 - see How to Set Up the MYOB Accounting Link
- If you have recently upgraded to MYOB V19.13, you may receive an error when trying to integrate with simPRO. To resolve this, go to the Setup tab in the accounting link and ensure the MYOB Program File is linked to the new file.
- Reckon Accounts Premier and Enterprise - see How to Set up the Reckon / QuickBooks Desktop Accounting Link
- Intuit QuickBooks Desktop Premier and Enterprise.
Reckon One, Reckon Hosted, Reckon Accounts Accounting and Reckon Accounts Plus are not supported in simPRO.

The following desktop accounting software packages are supported in New Zealand:
- MYOB AccountRight Enterprise, Premier, Plus, and Standard, all V19 - see How to Set Up the MYOB Accounting Link
- If you have recently upgraded to MYOB V19.13, you may receive an error when trying to integrate with simPRO. To resolve this, go to the Setup tab in the accounting link and make sure that the MYOB Program File is linked to the new file.

Reckon One, Reckon Hosted, Reckon Accounts Accounting and Reckon Accounts Plus are not supported in simPRO.

The following desktop accounting software packages are supported in simPRO in the United Kingdom:
- Intuit QuickBooks Desktop Premier and Enterprise, which include:
- CIS support
- tax registration numbers for clients
- multi-currency

Intuit QuickBooks Desktop Premier and Enterprise are supported in simPRO in the United States, which includes:
- multi-currency support
- grouped tax codes.

The following accounting packages can only be supported in simPRO through third party integration:

You need to obtain the link from your Accredo QSP (Qualified Support Person). The QSP will advise if you have purchased the correct module for this link. simPRO is a job management software, which means financial records are ideally kept in your accounting package. To reconcile your simPRO data and your accounting package data, compare the following simPRO reports with the corresponding reports in your accounting package:
